AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): Tripura Congress MLA Sudip Barman on Sunday criticized the state BJP Govt for slow recruitment and hundreds of posts which were announced after the cabinet meetings from time to time, but no notification was given practically. The press conference conducted by MLA Sudip Barman occurred two days after Minister Sushanta Chowdhury held a press meet announcing recruitment for 400 posts — which the Minister said, will be notified and processed in due time.
In that context, Barman asked about what happened to the previously announced posts which were never filled up.
“What happened to 2024’s 216 sub-inspector, 100 Tahdildar posts,104 auditor, 140 forester, 30 cooperative, 240 LDC etc, etc?” asked the Congress MLA.
He also mentioned about 104 of posts’ announcements for amindar, posts for foresters and revenue inspectors and so many other posts which were announced but never proceeded.
Barman further talked about sluggish processes of the recruitment system by TPSC.
“The TPSE maintains no calendar and so nobody knows when the next process of the recruitment will take place. If a calendar is given, it is also not followed. Any recruitment takes over two years of time,” Barman told the media.
He also took a jibe at the BJP Govt for failing to create enough job opportunities.
Barman stated that such job alerts which do not start after years of announcement are leaving job seekers frustrated who spend a lot of money in coaching centers for preparations.
