AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): 2022’s TET qualified unemployed youths have been striving to meet the Chief Minister for over a year but without getting any appointment, the job aspirants this week were bound to go to the chief minister’s residence premise, where they were arrested. Reacting to the overall situation, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha told journalists that he was informed about the issue and also assured to have a talk with the departmental officers on it. 2022’s TET qualifiers have been seeking jobs since they passed TET and also cleared preliminaries but due to a legal issue since a case was filed on that their recruitment was paused, according to former Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath.
“I am sensible about it and I would talk about it,” CM told media.

The issue was then raised to the Supreme Court and it was cleared that there is no obligation in the recruitment, the job aspirants have been saying repeatedly.
On November 24, the TET-qualified unemployed youths gheraoed CM’s residence to meet him but each of the agitators was arrested by police to vacate the residential area.
