AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): Congress MLA Sudip Barman lambasted Tripura Police DPG and the State Government over Ranir Bazar’s brutal violence where minority families houses were set on fire by miscreants. Whereas CM is still maintaining his silence, Congress slammed the DGP for such a law and order deterioration in Ranir Bazar. Sudip Barman blamed BJP behind this incident starting from a Hindu temple’s vandalism and then attacking innocent people which created a total lawless situation in the area and DM West had to impose 163 BNSS to control the situation.
“We will not allow such things in Tripura. Tripura is not made for such incidents. Just like a shameless you (DGP) are sitting in the police headquarter,” said Barman.
“Tripura police have received BJP’s slavery,” added Barman.
