Based on secret information police raided the house of Bhramanandanda Debnath in Belonia and seized these items.

Belonia PS Inspector Sukanta Tripura and Sub-inspector Shib Shankar Saha were present during the raid into the home and successfully found the hidden items which have been brought to the Belonia police station.

An auto was also seized from the home. Total of 1199 clothes were seized in the drive.

For a last few months, police in South Tripura have been seizing clothes, raising concerns about whether a big smuggling racket working within the state.
