AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya on Sunday in a massive rally organized at Dewan Bazar hailed the public unity who have rushed to support the Tipra Motha party amid its limited campaigning. Pradyot Manikya introduced all the candidates of the Sepahijala District --- Subodh Debbarma from Charilam, Shah Alam from Bishalgarh, Manab Debbarma from Golaghati, Biswajit Kalai from Takarjala. Addressing the rally, Pradyot Manikya said if he had aligned and compromised then he could not have been able to contact his eyes with his supporters. He said, “Alliance would have been equal to theft. But my agenda is NO COMPROMISE”. His “No Compromise” dialogue repetition was cheered by the crowd with claps.
“The respect which I earn from the love of people, is much more valuable than the respect could be given by Narendra Modi, Sitaram Yechury, or Rahul Gandhi………today the nation is watching, a King not fighting for his palace but for the people”, said Pradyot Manikya.
Pradyot Manikya also asked Tipra Motha leaders to stop leader-giri over MLA tickets and to focus on development.
“The power is not in leaders’ hands. The mass holds the main power. Stop Rajneeti and start Kaamneeti”, said Pradyot Manikya to his party leaders.
Tipra Motha Supremo amid pressure from his party leaders did not agree to align with BJP as no written assurance about a constitutional solution of the Greater Tipraland could be given in writing by the Home Ministry.
