AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): After Agartala Police had cancelled September 15 and September 16 rallies, now Trinamool Congress has submitted another fresh application for rally deferring the programme plan to 22nd September. Talking to media, Tripura Trinamool leader Subal Bhowmik said, "Our first plea for 15th September was rejected stating BJP has a programme tomorrow. We will see what programme BJP will organize tomorrow. However, we did not get permission to organize a rally on 16th September and the police wrote in letter that strict action will be taken as per law. I want to tell the police, law is law...... It's never strict or soft. Law is equal for all. Now let's see what police say about September 22's rally issue. The CM of Tripura has little idea about politics and thus he is proclaiming himself as the MD of a private company and we all the common people are his employees. A match fixing is going on between police and BJP".
On being asked by the media, what will TMC do if police do not give permission on that day (22nd September) too, Subal Bhowmik did not make any comment.
Tripura BJP now has to testify its mass-support with a 24 hours preparation as Tripura Police's letter claimed that before TMC submitted any letter, police already permitted it for BJP's rally in Agartala.
