CPI-M Party Worker Murder Case : Ex-CM met Family, Criticized Police's role

AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has met Late Pradip Nama's family who was allegedly murdered in Bamutia. His body was full of blood clots and a portion of the face looked like was smashed but as per the victim family's allegation, police are not cooperating and trying to convince the victim family that it was not a murder. One of the family members of the victim Late Pradip Nama said, "Police are attempting to label the murder as suicide amid blood clots and severe injuries on the dead body.....even from children to old persons, all said, it is a murder".Talking to media, Manik Sarkar has condemned police role. He said "This is just a replica of Jungle Raj. Now a days, any dead body is being found is announced as suicide in advance. The criminality in the society is at drastic rise".

Raw Glimpses of the Dead Body of Pradip Nama :

The deceased Pradip Nama's family said that Pradip Nama was beaten up by goons many times earlier.  Many fabricated cases were also lodged against Pradip Nama by the BJP in political vendetta, alleged family. On August 3rd, Pradip Nama went out at around 10 O'Clock for his regular routine work but he did not return home. 

Family members said that the place where his body was found on Wednesday, 3 times this area was checked thoroughly since Tuesday but nothing was found. Even on Wednesday morning that place was checked by locals but his body was not found and later when again locals searched in that same area, Pradip Nama's body was found in the same place. It has been suspected that after murdering him, his body was kept in that place.

He was called by someone in phone which can be traced from the mobile of the victim, said family.
