AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Protests, Road Blockade rocked Agartala city today by 10323 teachers JMC over 81 deaths of the terminated teachers and Police's non-cooperation to bring the dead-body of Rumi Debbarma to the demonstration spot where she joined in JMC protest many times seeking jobs like other terminated teachers. On yesterday, she had consumed poison out of job-loss frustration and died. At first the police stopped the teachers to take the dead body and were not releasing the dead body from GB hospital morgue. For hours the teachers along Late Rumi Debbarma's family waited there but the body was not being released. Alleging police are helping in politics with dead-body of Rumi Debbarma, the 10323 teachers had blocked road before City Centre and broke police barricade. Also, road blockade continued for a long time in Khowai where is the house of Rumi Debbarma.

Massive resentment has gripped the 10323 teachers which is visible from their protest.  Many terminated teachers broke in cries in protest and the agitators have now warned the Govt to solve their problems or if anything undemocratic incident happens, for that only Govt will be responsible.
