Contractual Doctors, Medical Staffs who were recruited in COVID-Crisis situation, are not getting Salaries

AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Contractual Doctors, Medical Staffs who were recruited in COVID-19 Crisis times are now in trouble as they are not getting their salaries regularly. Reacting against this disruption, Opposition CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar said, "Earlier when the Doctors were not getting salaries, they were in protest. After protest, the Doctors, Medical Staffs were given 3 months salaries, but now as they are complaining that for last 2 months, Govt again not clearing their salaries. Whether the Doctors and the Medical staffs who are striving to manage the COVID-19 situation by risking their lives, will they have to protest everytime to get their month's salaries ?" Pabitra Kar was addressing media after a Left party team had held a meeting with Principal Secretary of Health J . K. Sinha and discussed about the issues of the Health Services. J.K Sinha reportedly visited GB Hospital recently and held various meetings.

"We have told him, how GB hospital which was the centre of Tripura Health Services has lost public trusts. Dialysis, TNT, CT Scan, MRI all are left paralyzed", said Pabitra Kar.
