AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Many officials, even IPS, IAS Officers took Voluntary retirements under Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's regime, starting from honest IAS Officer Y.Kumar to former Chief Secretary L.K. Gupta and now Additional Chief Secretary S K Rakesh is too going to retire voluntarily from November 1st.

Although the exact reason behind the voluntary retirement could not be known but he is not the first one under Biplab Deb who is going to retire voluntarily. More officials are proceeding in the same direction due to lots of chaos and outside interference in various departments.

Many officials have unofficially said, it is impossible to work with this incumbent CM. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who has zero experience in bureaucracy, politics and management started his journey in very attacking mode from suspending officials on spot before people and his right hand Education Minister Ratanlal Nath also has done the same which caused embarrassing moments for teachers and many teachers indeed cried before media due to his over scolding just for the publicity.

Sources said, the way Biplab Deb threatens media, in the same way, he deals with officials.

In the latest voluntary retirement notification of the Add Chief Secretary S.K.Rakesh under N.F.35(5)-GA(P&T)/91(Vol-II) dated 14th September it has been notified, "Shri Sanjay Kumar Rakes, IAS, TR-1990, Addl Chief Secretary, Govt of Tripura will retire from service with effect from 1st November, 2020, voluntarily".
