AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): After many among the 10323 teachers faced severe attacks, arrests and Swapan Sarkar like persons whose shop was damaged demanding 50000 rupees by miscreants, now in Burmira Madhabkami Para, a former teacher among 10323 named Manoj Debbarma was spotted today selling fishes. He was a teacher with good academic results but today left jobless as Supreme Court dismissed the 10323 teachers’ jobs due to irregularity in recruitment. What is hitting the teachers most is that the BJP seems have wasted the teachers 3 years with fake promises, as before 3 years BJP asked the 10323 teachers not to take any tension if BJP voted to power but 3 months have gone that the teachers have lost their jobs. If BJP had not given any fake promise in 2017-18, then the teachers could think alternative livelihood but now they have become older and bound to start new career as fish, chicken sellers.
In Agartala Joynagar, a 10323 teacher Swapan Sarkar’s family was attacked, business damaged after he denied to give Rs. 50,000 to the local miscreants. With all these, the lives of 10323 teachers are in miserable shape.
On June month’s last week, Tripura Law Minister Ratanlal Nat had arouse a hope among the terminated 10323 teachers, saying, the case which was filed by Tripura Govt in the Supreme Court to appoint 10323 teachers in non-teaching posts, to be heard in July last week and Govt is hoping the date to be fallen on July 27. Now the former teachers are eyeing for the hearing of that case.
