AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): In a major announcement, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday has said that from now, State Govt has decided to test each and every persons entering Tripura after traveling. CM was addressing in a programme named ‘Swachhata’ organized by NSS in town hall when announced this. Biplab Deb also declared that all persons under the containment zone will be tested for COVID-19. “It has been seen that all persons who are tested COVID-19 positive, maximum are asymptomatic and they do not have any problem like cold or breathing problems, but for that Govt is not taking any risk and thus everyone’s tests are mandatoryâ€, said CM assuring minimizing risks of community transmission chances. Tripura’s total COVID-19 screened numbers – 49673, Active cases – 293, cured cases – 1085 and one case.India's coronavirus count increased to 5,66,840 on Tuesday after the country reported 18,522 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

Of the total cases, 3,34,821 have been successfully treated while one case has been migrated from the country. There are 2,15,125 active cases of COVID-19 in India and all are under medical supervision.
The death toll climbed to 16,893 in the country with 418 more persons succumbing to the viral infection in the last 24 hours, as per the latest data by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
