In joint movement, following social distance guideline Congress party led by State secretary Shantanu pal distributed food and other essential commodities along with 200 rupees among the poor people. 

 

While talking to media state president Pijush Kanti Biswas said,"We are distributing relief materials since last three months. The state government however has declared that they are taking care of all the poor people who aren't getting any chance to earn money during this lockdown, but there has immense doubt. People are starving for food. The daily workers are finding anyways for income. In such situation Tripura Pradesh Congress members are trying to help the poor people who are in dire need, as much as possible." 

 

Biswas also said that the distribution of relief items among poor people will be continued in future days.
