AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Alleging no funding amount from the Centre has been clearly announced by Tripura Govt, neither any utilization transparency was maintained, Tripura Congress leader Gopal Roy has accused BJP led Tripura Govt for not maintaining proper utilization detains on the fund-utilization. Addressing media, Gopal Roy said, “There are huge funding from centre but no swab testing is done properly. So many hospitals are existing in the state but proper medical facilities are not being utilized. Nurses, Doctors, Medical staffs are provided with pathetic quality of food when in quarantine centre. From Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s announcement more than 4000 core came for Tripura and more than thousand came from the previous announcements and along with that so many funding are happening, but where the funds are going ? Over 4,800 crores came from centre".

"From Disaster management, PM Modi gave massive funds, but how much Tripura got, we don’t know. Then 11,000 cores were given to 23 states including Tripura. So, there is no fund crisis in Tripura”, said Gopal Roy, further seeking CM’s relief fund expenditure.

“Centre has ordered that every worker should eat 3 times, but here even the medical staffs can not eat properly. Tripura’s stranded people in Chennai are crying on road. Where the moneys are going ?”, he added.

However, Roy said that there is no direct funding which he found yet from centre, suggesting the Modi Govt to give direct benefits to poor..
