AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers have slammed Education Minister Ratanlal Nath for his untruthful statements. The teachers alleged that they were lured with two types of fake promises. The first one was as Minister Ratanlal Nath said, ‘Govt was keen to raise the matter to Supreme Court where a petition was filed to appoint the 10323 teachers in other posts’, the another was ‘Many of the 10323 teachers got Rs. 35,000’ , but rubbishing Ratanlal Nath’s statement, the teachers said that neither they go any money nor, Tripura Govt is serious about teachers appointment in non-teaching posts.

Addressing media, the former teachers said that all the cases which were listed before and after the 10323 teachers case were heard in the Supreme Court but only their cases remains only because of Tripura Govt’s delay game by not paying the court fee.The case was filed by Tripura Govt requesting Supreme Court to allow the Govt to appoint these former teachers in non-teaching posts.

The terminated teachers said, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath is desperately lying before media. They also alleged that the Minister not only in this case but also lying in the matter of Rs. 35,000 payment to each of the 10323 teachers, said, the day before yesterday a single teacher first received the money whereas Minister Ratanlal Nath was continuously saying that payments were already done.

The teachers further said, they lost another colleague Mani Sankar Chakma who breathed last.
