NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): Proving self as the true grandson of Tripura King Bir Bikram Manikya Bahadur (a King with a big heart), state’s Royal scion Pradyot Manikya who was recently criticized by a non-Tripuri Bengali regional party leader Chandan Chatterjee by calling Pradyot Manikya ‘Crownless King’ challenging him to act like a real King, has donated Rs. 1.5 lakhs via his TIPRA organization to the Anti-CAA protest row's targeted Bengali homeless families.  The Prince Pradyot Manikya helped the families although he was not leading the Anti-CAA protest on that time (Jan, 2020) when the violence took place at Ananda Bazar.Â
The TIPRA organization was formed by Pradyot Manikya recently to unite the indigenous people against corrupt political practices, likely to work as eye-opener for indigenous people by tracking movement of the corrupt leaders of state.
Today, his TIPRA organization has handed-over a cheque of Rs 1,50,000 to DM of North District, Tripura
On the other hand, due to vote bank fear till date Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and other leaders failed to do anything for the Ananda Bazar Bengali victims keeping the ADC Election ahead. Also Home Minister Amit Shah, PM Modi failed to dedicate a single word for the Bengali victims. This is also a lesson for the JUMLA politicians at the same time.
In a social media post, Pradyot Manikya said, “I had also previously condemned violence against the Bengalis at the aftermath of the CAA protests and this amount has to be given to the shopsowener who's establishment got ransacked in Ananda Bazaar by miscreants. To speak for my Tiprasa people does not mean you are required to hate anybody - to say PuilaJatiUloParty does not mean you hate any other community - it means put your people's interest ahead of politics . Will also speak for the rehabilitation of the Bengali families who have become landless in Kanchanpur . And all those who shout communal to me and try to provoke us - All I can say is the more you attack me the BIGGER/STRONGER I Become”.
Pradyot Manikya was appointed as the State President of Tripura Congress, resigned over ideological differences with other Congress leaders for the indigenous people.
