AGARTALA, Dec 1 (TIWN): Former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Saturday has slammed BJP party for creating divisions across India on the basis of religions.
Sarkar accused the BJP Govt for creating division to divert attention from the real issues and public’s sufferings on country’s devastated economy.
The Communist leader further said that although BJP is trying to suppress the voices in its all-time tricks but now, public are no more fool as they are suffering from massive poverty, citing example of huge crowd in the protest rally where he was addressing.
The Ex-CM slammed BJP Govt for imposing taxes on health services in Tripura not sparing the life-giver oxygen also (Rs. 50 per hour) and destroying education system too, cited example, the Left Govt made Education free for girls till College.
He also asked the Govt to give works on people’s hands referring the rural economic drought due to MGNREGA and other mandays’ drastic drops in last 20 months.
