AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): Filing False cases to harass opposition medias has become trademark of Tripura BJP Govt. The killers of Democracy in Tripura BJP President cum Tripura CM Biplab Deb, Minister Ratanlal Nath who were seen talking tall about ‘National Press Day’ has contributed only negative experiences from an Elected Govt with thousands of fake cases against common people, opposition voices, social media users, oppositions and ofcourse media. Total shutting down of media without causes, illegal attacks on Editor and journalists, filing false cases against media persons to opposition was never seen in such a vast number in Tripura’s total history in compare to the only 19 months old Govt. Total 11 false cases have been filed against TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar and his old parents of 72 and 82 years were harassing continuously till High Court put an objection to the torture on senior citizens.

Nodoubt mastermind credit for all attacks from Daily Desher Katha newspaper to TIWN were blueprinted in none other than Law Minister Ratanlal Nath’s brain who just like a mafia threatened to shutdown 40 years old newspaper by calling a press conference and manipulated District Magistrate led hearing which interfered in the process of RNI registration of Daily Desher Kath newspaper.

In case of opposition, when with fabricated case, BJP failed to get public support with a case against Badal Chowdhury, the spotless career holder, then it chose to announce more investigations aimed to shutdown opposition voice.

Not only this, both Biplab Deb and Ratanlal Nath held massive propaganda saying “Badal Chowdhury is doing drama of illness”, which were later exposed as utter lies in Court order where  specific health issues of Badal Chowdhury was mentioned.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb delivered various undemocratic speeches in last week, threatening media to shutdown indirectly with mafia-tone. Not first time, many times, Biplab Deb dared to question most popular newspaper Danik Sambad’s publication in public rallies.

Yesterday, Biplab Deb exposed his status of mind saying, he keeps video recording of Communist party rallies and likely to put all behind the bar once block—audit is done.

Whenever media asks question, the Govt has one answer that it’s a new Govt but to stop public to raise question about the losses and damages done in the last 19 months pressure on media are increasing in Tripura reportedly. From scrapping of existing medical facilities to introducing ESMA bill for employees, imposing taxes in all sectors, terminating contractual employees, cancelling existing recruitments etc are endless public allegations against BJP Govt along with election rigging, property burning and damaging in political violence.

But Ratanlal Nath like Ministers successfully in action to save multi-crime accused MLAs like Ram Prasad Pal even after High Court’s judgement.

The shutdown media houses as Din Raat, Halla Bol, Tripura Infoway Weekly paper along with illegal blocking of TIWN first site in India, arrests of journalists based on facebook post and uncountable social media users arrests have injured the Democratic history with permanent mark.

Who can forget when a daily worker Dipak Debnath was arrested just because he shared TIWN news which was published on BJP MLA Krishnadhan Das’s double 12 passed degrees and blundered affidavit submitted to Election Commission ?
Who can forget how in a cowardly act, under Biplab & Ratan’s Order, former SP West Ajit Pratap sent US based Tripurainfoway.com domain to shutdown with false statement, fabricated charges which was thrown into garbage by US authorities ? When in wrong way, police could not do, Biplab Deb Govt attempted to block TIWN in India via court and “not with a surprise” even after court’s order TIWN first site is still blocked.
