AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Central Pay system under 7th Pay Commission which was promised by BJP before assuming power in the Northeast state Tripura resulted into mirage. Opposition leader, Politburo Manik Sarkar today while addressing in Udaipur rally slammed the BJP Govt for its fake promise on 7th Pay Commission, informing further at least 12 to 14 DAs are pending since the Govt came in power. Sarkar further hit the BJP Govt for its fake promise on 50,000 Govt jobs for unemployed youths in one year, double salary and mocked BJP Govt’s propaganda of “Standing on own feet by Taxing Public”. Tripura Govt teachers are deprived of DA for long 2 years, neither there is any possibility of clearing the pending DA right now. No good news for employees was announced in this Durga puja also. Tripura BJP Govt came in power by promising 7th Pay Commission as it is like Central 7th Pay Commission for all Govt employees, pensioners with the effect of 2016, January which assured to double the salary of employees.

Various advertisements of BJP claimed on that time if a person is getting salary of 20,000 s/he will get 40,000 from March, 2018. Those who are getting 50,000 will get 1 lakhs but the Govt has ended by merely hiking 0.32 factor from October, 2018 effect.

For teachers, BJP placed promise that all TET teachers will get their regular salaries since appointment time as BJP put the logic that nowhere in India “5 years fixed system” is existing. Ironically, after 18 months of the BJP Govt, now government teachers have turned items subject of humiliation for Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath’s and insulting teachers has become a common incident in Tripura media coverage, where infront of media, students, BJP kariyakartas Govt school teachers, Headmasters, College professor, principal are insulted. State media covered various such incidents. Till today, since BJP assumed power no DA was given to the teachers whereas after every 6 months or maximum one year the previous Govt used to announce DA.

The central govt employees though getting 12% DA but Tripura teachers not getting any DA right now. The last DA hike was reported on 2017, January 2nd under the Left Govt.

State’s Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarman said that due to financial tight situation of the State Govt right now DA is not possible. He also said, it depends on the Central Govt for the further DA.

According to Vision Document’s promise the Govt is acting at the opposite direction specially to the employees section, alleged the Govt employees.

So, there is also no special gift for the teachers and other govt employees ahead of Durga puja.

BJP before election also promised to double the employees salaries, released various advertisement and BJP National President Amit Shah promised to give 7th Pay Commission from March 2018 whereas the effect was said from 2016, but only a scale of 7th Pay Commission has been claimed as given with the effect of 2018, October.

With all these deprivation and drop of Govt jobs’ luxury resentments have been massively erupted among state govt employees. So far no hope on the Central Govt also as the country is reeling under heavy economic crisis situation with massive drop in GDP.
