AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Sep 22 (TIWN): Badharghat by-election campaigning has closed on yesterday and the election to be started tomorrow at 7 am but throughout the election season, there was no sign of Sunil Deodhar who is believed as Tripura BJP’s first driver of “Membership Abhiyan”. Tripura’s long time BJP leader, present National BJP Secretary Sunil Deodhar, who was sent by Central BJP in 2014, November 9 with heavy challenge to unseat 25 years long ruling Communist Govt on the ground of his vast experience as campaigning manager of PM Modi’s constituency in Varanasi in 2014, is no more seen in Tripura. After BJP’s victory in Tripura in 2018-Assembly-Election, Deodhar was almost never seen in Tripura, rarely visited few times but now totally disappeared from Tripura Politics and in this ongoing Badharghat election, Deodhar is finally vanished and in his absence he became widely infamous by nickname, awarded by unemployed youths as “Missed Call Baba”.

The reason of calling Sunil Deodhar a “Missed Call Baba” is his fake and funny promise to Tripura’s unemployed youths that once BJP comes in power youths will get jobs via missed calls. Deodhar pushed the confidence in the unemployed youths by giving a number which says “Switched Off” right now.

Sunil Deodhar before the election gave 8882271955 number to unemployed youths saying, it will give them job once they give one missed-call in it, but after 10 months of passage this 8882271955 number is saying switched off in Marathi language.

Under 18 months of BJP Govt in Tripura, state’s unemployment rate went at 27.9%, second highest in the country.

Before the election 50,000 vacant posts were promised to be fulfilled, whereas now Govt first cancelled around 8,000 almost selected candidates under various depts and TPSC and along with terminations.

Unemployed youths in social media now has raised question what about Tripura BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar’s promise on job according to miss call.

Earlier a TV channel had released pre-poll videos where Sunil Deodhar was asking unemployed youths to give a miscall in 8882271955 number after BJP comes in power and to take jobs which will fulfill Biplab deb’s promise on house-to-house jobs.

But now the whole promise is proving as JUMLA and netizens have called him as “Missed Call Baba”, raising direct fingers at the credibility of Central BJP leaders’ promises.

Deodhar came in Tripura at 11 am, via Air India flight in 2014, November 9 first time. He is called the Adi-Manab of Tripura BJP’s support-garden and so much involved himself in BJP’s campaigning form the grass level athat he also experienced rallies without any audience at the beginning.
