AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): Day after Tripura’s former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar hit the BJP Govt saying that BJP had fooled Tripura’s unemployed youths before election by promising employment and pinched Chief Minister Biplab Deb for his continuous motivations to unemployed youths for self-dependency, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has hit back the Marxist leader on Friday. While addressing in the inauguration programme of an industrial promotion and consultancy cell named 'SWAAGAT' at TIDCL office CM Biplab Deb said, “How can a person claim it a Govt’s achievement just by providing Govt jobs ? Those jobs which end in a moment while cases are filed in High Court and Supreme Court ? Giving 3,000 jobs or 5,000 jobs from Govt expenditure and budget, calling it achievement is nothing but nonsense.“Govt job is part of development and administration. It will happen time to time according to the demand of the administration and vacancies available but in addition Govt has so much to do for the youths.”

“Whenever a vacancy comes, ofcourse we have to recruit people but by filling up those posts, how can I claim them as my achievement ? This recruitment comes under system only. No Govt is doing charity by giving jobs. This is Dr. B R Ambedkar's achievement wrote the constitution”, said Deb.

“Govt job is expenditure of the Govt. Employees are recruited as per the demand. We can not pull unemployed youths in lusts of jobs in vote banks politics and we must help them, motivate them to be self-dependent. What is wrong in self-dependency ?”, said Deb.

“Our Govt is transparent Govt. When we give jobs, nobody can terminate them in the High Court and Supreme Court”, he added.

After the programme, in a social media post CM said, “Our Govt is committed to promote Industrial sector in Tripura for economic development as well as for employment creation. The single window system has been started in Tripura for the first time to overcome the difficulties faced by industries previously. Now clearances related to the industry will be completed from one place in fixed time. We are committed to deliver Good Governance to people”.
