AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): Just 2 days ahead of nation’s 73rd independence day, a strong militant group comprised of 88 members under NLFT-SD have surrendered before Govt of India under Govt of Tripura.
The surrendering programme was conducted in Chandrai Para Higher Secondary School in Ambassa of Dhalai District in the presence of CM, Deputy CM, MP, MLAs and high Govt officials from Secretariat and Police Headquarter.
Just ahead of 73rd Independence Day, surrendering of 88 ultras have been considered as a big achievement.
“It is due to PM Modi and his nationalistic Govt under whose influence they have surrendered today. Again and again I congratulate you from the core of my heart. Govt will keep its promise and you also keep your promise according to the agreement’, said CM.
