Continuous incidents of burns panicked hosteleers : Authority indifferent

KAILASAHAR, Oct 23 (TIWN): In last one year five incidents of burning from fire took place. In the Tuesday night the same incident burnt clothes, beds and accessories of two hosteleer girls. Panicked guardians are set to take their girls to home. However, the indifferent school authority termed it as mere accident.

In the SC ( Scheduled Caste) hostel of Kailasahar Govt. Girls’ Class XII School the incident of fire took place five times in last one year. On Tuesday last, the fire burnt all the clothings, beds and accessories of two inmates namely Puja Sarkar (15) and Subhamita Sarkar (16) at dead of night. Then they were in deep sleep. When the burning net touched them, they woke up and raised hue and cry.

Hearing it, the night guard and hosteleers rushed to the spot and subdued the fire. Such continuous incidents panicked the guardians so much that they are thinking of shifting their spouses at home. However, the Headmaster of the school, Nitish Biswas paid no importance to such incidents. He termed it as mere accident. Although after visiting the hostel , he assured to adopt early measures to stop any such incident further. The guardians and students demand full-proof system to prevent any such untoward incident from the part of the school authority.
