Another major faceloss for Biplab Deb Govt as after tainted Additional DGP Rajiv Singh’s removal from the Law and Order Dept & from the election works after massive poll rigging in West Tripura constituency, now Election Commission of India has removed West RO Sandeep Mahatme from the Election duty permanently. After peaceful election and strict observation against BJP’s hooliganism in East Tripura constituency Election, as a part of appreciation now East Tripura RO Vikash Singh has been appointed as the RO of West Tripura. However, who will take charge of East Tripura it’s not clear yet. Earlier, BJP Govt and its party claimed that the election in West Tripura was “free” and “fair”, but it was exposed due to thousands of video clips of poll rigging and CCTV proves.Ahead of the decision opposition had requested Election Commission to remove the RO-West from Election duty but on yesterday in a letter it was ordered that west RO had been transferred to East Tripura constituency whereas East RO has been transferred in West.

CPI-M demanded continuation of East RO in the existing post and removal of West RO from election.

Today Election Commission in a letter via Secretary Arvind Anand has transferred East RO Vikash Singh in West constituency most likely for re-poll and West RO Sandeep Mahatme has been removed permanently. Mahatme earlier also allegedly helped BJP in rigging of local body polls.

Thanking CEC Sunil Arora for postponing East Tripura Election, MP Jitendra Chaudhury has requested him not to remove RO East Vikas Singh from the constituency till May 23rd, the result day and to replace RO-West Sandeep Mahatme with another person.

The letter was written by Jitendra Chaudhury after in a surprising move, East Tripura RO Vikash Singh who acted as an honest officer has been transferred to West Tripura constituency.

At the same time, West Tripura RO Sandeep Mahatme was sent at East Tripura.

BJP MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik had launched the whole rigging, proven with evidences.
