AGARTALA, May 2 (TIWN): The next mafia CM candidate of BJP, General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik who is now acting as Biplab Deb’s right hand and also the de-facto Home Minister of Tripura has been involved in various crimes, voting intrigues, attacking oppositions and vote-theft, but backbone-less Tripura Police failed to file an FIR against Pratima Bhowmik even after she threatened an IPS Officer with murder, Additional SP Kiran Kumar after he controlled BJP hooligans. She threatened him to kill on spot for taking action against BJP hooligans, neither any investigation was lodged to the incident. After TIWN released the video, people of Tripura cleaned all doubt about her criminal-character and BJP has also stopped begging sympathy for her on the ground of she is a woman, but before the video was released BJP campaigned against TIWN accusing, the media is maligning image of a woman. In this situation instead of taking action against Pratima Bhowmik, Police have become hyperactive to arrest facebook users, journalists illegally and filed case against TIWN also illegally, whereas without serving notice to TIWN, the judge has blocked the website without any hearing.

Police have not taken any action against Pratima Bhowmik even after release of the viral video of Pratima Bhowmik where she is threatening Tripura Police Addl SP Kiran Kumar at Chanmari area on 12th April, one day after West Tripura Election, all though FIR was demanded by netizens.

BJP MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik’s life-threat, insults to Add SP Kiran Kumar after he controlled a violence sponsored by Pratima Bhowmik herself, has been slammed statewide, outside the state. The way Pratima Bhowmik on April 12, 2019 has threatened an IPS officer is the rarest incident, exposed by TIWN exclusively.

Pratima Bhowmik was earlier held in 3 months jail, later released in bail after she and her brother was accused in murder case of the housewife of their home.
