AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): Verma Committee, formed by Biplab Deb Govt itself accepted in its financial report that since 2014 (Modi Govt) funds for Tripura has been slashed chronologically and it has been worsened years after years and continued even after BJP bagged Tripura Assembly Election majority amid multi-dozens of promises BJP scripted in the Vision Document led Biplab Deb to announce 0.32 factor hike merely salaries of employees instead of 7th Pay Commission. No DA was cleared since BJP came in power, but Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed it is only Modi Govt which is committed to Tripura’s people and the Govt is strong enough to convert Tripura into a ‘model state’. Biplab Deb said this when he was addressing in Lok Sabha Election campaigning on Saturday. When Vision Document published by Union Finance Minister left unfulfilled, including 50000 Govt jobs in the first year, Biplab Deb said, if possible Modi only can carry out Tripura’s growth and Sitaram Yechury and Rahul Gandhi are not committed. Biplab Deb further claimed, 2.40 lakhs of free gas connections were given under 1 year of BJP Govt, above 1 lakh of free water connectivity was given, 7th pay commission scale was given.Tripura Election to be conducted in two phases April 11 (West Tripura), April 18 (East Tripura), but centering the Election massive poll violence has been sponsored by BJP.

The violence has been followed by the past two local body elections which were openly won by BJP through rigging. 

Especially West Tripura whose candidate of BJP is the most controversial figure ever in Tripura politics with tainted backround Pratima Bhowmik against whom murder cases were registered has sponsored highest ever violence and Biplab Deb’s 90% energy in poll campaigning is dedicated for Pratima Bhowmik.

Tripura’s unemployment problems has increased triple in last one year which jumped from CPI-M’s 10% to 30.9% now added resentments by cancellation of all ongoing recruitments and no fulfilling of Vision Document’s promises like 50000 govt jobs in first one year.

At the same time, BJP’s main campaigner Biplab Deb is nationally famous as “motormouth” with poor intellect image who promised unemployed youths to rear cows and open paan shops.
