AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): BJP's fascist face once again bared open as Saffron Party turned non-believer in Democracy.Politically motivated movies are now allowed in India ahead of Lok Sabha Election even at the cost of maligning former Prime Minister Manmohon Singh’s image and nationally loved Gandhi family but books with possible criticism the RSS and BJP National President Amit Shah is not accepted by the BJP Govt. By proving BJP Govt’s disrespect to the constitution, to the democracy and attitude of murdering of freedom of expression, it has banned SFI’s stalls at Agartala book fair. The senses of democracy has been bulldozed in the era of BJP and finally in an order, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma has issued a ban to the SFI’s stall at the book fair. The complaint brought against SFI’s stall by the Govt side, was there they are selling books with politically motivated thoughts. SFI has condemned the incident and slammed BJP’s intolerance against writers. Even though BJP may define itself, but according to Indian democracy, this has been a total disrespect to the constitution which would be defeated if filed in the court of law.

Since the beginning SFI’s stalls came under direct physical attacks and on the first night the book stall was looted, vandalized. But the Govt hasn’t taken any action against the miscreants for attacking SFI’s stall, rather it has banned the book stall itself.

The book fair came under criticism due to Govt led created a mess on the first day. No stall was ready for inauguration at the book fair and in a way it was nose-cutting episode for Tripura before the other states’ book sellers.

BJP since the beginning either bulldozing of Lenin’s statue or former CPI-M Deputy CM’s idol vandalizing, slapping former Minister, attacking opposition leaders, politicizing of administration were active to display high levels of intolerance and murdering of democracy but through today’s incident BJP Govt has shown its enmity even with student organizations.

It can be noted here BJP and a section of media either nationally or inside Tripura on February 15 night started propaganda that anti-national books should be removed from the book fair.  Before attacking the SFI’s stalls few BJP backed media started propaganda that anti-national books might be removed from book fairs.

As soon as SFI’s stall was vandalized, various fake accounts have come in action to place their statements in social media that CPI-M is China, Pak supporters and worships Marx and Lenin.

Finally, when SFI reopened the stall, today the Govt has put a ban on that and removed the stall.
