AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN): Everything going on like a film ahead of Lok Sabha Election. Using the patriotic sentiment of common men, BJP and a section of media either nationally or inside Tripura have started propaganda that anti-national elements and books should be removed from India, even though who will certify the nationalist and anti-nationalists it’s unknown.

 Before attacking the SFI’s stalls few BJP backed media started propaganda that anti-national books would be removed from book fairs.

As soon as SFI’s stall was vandalized, various fake accounts have come in action to place their statements in social media that CPI-M is China, Pak supporters and worships Marx and Lenin.

SFI has blamed the whole episode as a “deep intrigue”.

CPI-M’s student wing SFI has condemned the attack on their book stalls at Agartala Book Fair after they had also attacked workers by ruling party miscreants.

SFI alleged, in the last year the BJP Govt led ICAT Dept didn’t give permission to open stalls in Book Fair and SFI had protested against it. (ICAT is headed by CM Biplab Deb)

This time, since the beginning the workers were threatened not to make the stall.

Then,after complaining the fair-authority resolved the matter and the workers started working again and completed the stalls but in the inauguration day, till evening 7.30 pm, all stalls were given with power connection except SFI’s stalls.

“Since the beginning, we have been facing huge tortures and pressures. Today morning we were informed about the stall damage. We rushed to the spot and found  books were thrown, the stall was vandalized. They looted all cash. When we attempted to raise complaint to the authority but they didn’t bother to listen. Later police came, but nobody is taking the matter seriously”

“Amid much protection, security how such an incident took place ? It’s a deep intrigue and pre-plan activity with dirty motives”, he said.
