PANISAGAR, Dec 28 (TIWN): After poll-rigging, illegal winning of Municipal Election, BJP’s unending violence didn’t spare senior citizens one after one.

After CPI-M senior leaders Bhanulal Saha, Gautam Das and many more were attacked, now a 75 years old woman was stone pelted and left with severe injuries. The video of the incident is going viral.

Referring Panisagar violence, CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar said, “BJP has raped democracy and election protocols.Today at Panisagar BJP attacked our leaders during election result out. They attacked in the office in the name of Victory rally of the Municipal Election. After that 3 families of CPI-M were attacked, one 75 years old woman, mother of Ajit Das, an active CPI-M leader”.

While talking to the media, the injured woman said, “I pray to God, people of Tripura should not witness anymore such brutal scenarios, what we have witnessed. How can we live in this situation ?”

“My fault is that my son works for CPI-M. But under such terrible situations, it’s unbearable to live. They first attacked our home and broken all tins and then through roofs they started stone pelting and in this incident I was injured on head”, she said showing the big sized stones.

She was badly wounded and hospitalized.In front of police BJP supporters were organizing such type of heinous act. But so far none was arrested who are behind the case.  

Tension has erupted in Panisagar and police’s role so far remained unsatisfactory.
