AGARTALA, Dec 16 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb once again under controversy for his high flying for personal uses, at the expenditure of tax-payers money.

Biplab Deb came under massive controversy across social media after he attended BJP MLA Burba Mohan Tripura’s son’s marriage party at Korbook in Gomati District by helicopter at the distance of 55 km from capital city Agartala.

The controversy gets more ground as before the Election from Biplab Deb to almost all the BJP leaders day-night used to hit Tripura ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar after he visited Gandacherra like places via helicopter. However, Sarkar’s visits were for Govt programmes, whereas the present Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s visit is for his personal tours.

This is not the first time, that Biplab Deb was criticized for such kind of waste in public funds as many times for very short distances, he used helicopters for his personal uses.

Deb is the first Chief Minister of Tripura whose convoy is made more than 15 vehicles whereas at Korbook also after he landed from helicopter his convoy was ready whereas from Agartala it hardly would had taken 1 hour to reach Korbook for Chief Minister’s convoy.

Earlier, CM’s quarter renovation also came in media limelight at the cost of crores whereas from Centre it was noticed to Tripura CM and Ministers to decrease the expenditure for their travels.

Since Sunday evening massive talks, criticisms are viral now across social media after Biplab Deb visited the marriage party by using helicopter.
