AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has raised question, why Chief Minister Biplab Deb conducted whole night meeting with Home Dept, Police till early morning today which has spiked up the violence further ?

Addressing press conference, Congress State President Birjit Sinha said, “When the Chief Minister was holding meeting for whole night at late night, early morning various violence took place in the state. Who was indulged in Belonia violence, public knows. When law and order is deteriorating day by day, what meeting the Chief Minister had done which worsen the situation further, it should be cleared by press note. No press note was given after the meeting but statewide violence is continuing. Even just now attack has been reported at Suryamaninagar area. Many BJP leaders are taking lead role in spreading violence”.

The Congress leader further criticized the BJP Govt for ongoing attacks media, Central BJP’s attempt of controlling Supreme Court to CBI. Congress had called for press conference after one Congress leader Ratan Das who was attempted to be murdered and his whole family was attacked, house vandalized, car broken and FIR was lodged, instead of arresting the culprits, Police was forced to arrest victim Congress leader Ratan Das in Govt’s pressure. With all these, Congress wanted to know in which purpose, CM had held meeting with police and crimes spiked up immediately.

Birjit Sinha further condemned the Election Commission in Tripura for postponing Election in totally undemocratic manner without citing any reason or informing the oppositions.
