BJP's JUMLA  paralyze Democracy :  ‘No Contest’ Election via organized terror across State, life-threats  prevent Opposition nominations

AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): JUMLA cheating, winning election via 'No Contest', violence against opposition marks BJP's Poll formula. Like Panchayat Election, poll rigging, attacks upon opposition candidates, attacks in houses have successfully led a “No Contest Election” via terror and organized tortures, rigging of the opposition leaders.In Khowai, Teliamura, Ranir Bazar, Jirania under BJP’s brutal attack in front of police have left all seats for by-election to win without any contest.Already nomination submission for 158 posts have been ended. Total 317 candidates have submitted nominations, whereas 159 candidates are BJP.Total 74 CPI-M candidates have submitted nominations (later CPI-M disclosed only 58 candidates could submit nominations out of poll-rigging and fear) whereas 27 are Congress. Apart from that RSP, Trinamool, Independent candidate have submitted 1 nomination each.In Agartala out of four seats BJP, Congress have submitted four nominations, whereas CPI-M has submitted three nominations.

In Panisagar out of 11 seats both CPI-M and BJP submitted 11 nominations and Congress has submitted 7.

In Kailashahar in 6 seats Congress, CPI-M, BJP all have submitted nominations.

In Kumarghat for 5 seats CPI-M, Congress both have submitted 5 nominations, whereas BJP submitted 6 for the 5 seats.

In Kamalpur out of 11 seats BJP has submitted 11 nominations whereas CPI-M couldn’t submit any nomination and Congress gave 5.

In Khowai out of 15 seats BJP has submitted 15 nomination, whereas other parties could not submit any nomination. 

In Melaghar out of in 13 seats, BJP submitted 13 nominations whereas CPI-M 8 and Congress 12.

In Udaipur out of 21 seats, BJP submitted nominations in all seats whereas CPI-M has submitted in 12 nominations and Congress, RSP 1, 1.

At Belonia out of 15 seat, CPI-M submitted 13 and Congress 1.In Santir Bazar out of 13, CPI-M submitted 5 nominations whereas Congress 0.

In Telimaura also in 15 seats BJP submitted nominations in 15 seats but other parties could not submit. In Jirania out of 11 seats except BJP no other party could submit nominations.

In Ranir Bazar also out of 3 seats only BJP could submit nominations.
