UDAIPUR, Oct 27 (TIWN): In Udaipur Matabari’s history, such disgusting power-cut, lack of emergency inverter power is rare as all wrongs are happening in JUMLA era. When the preparations for this year's Diwali festival at Matabari are on the pick, Mata Tripurasundari herself is being worshipped in a neglected manner without electricity. .Such a serious allegation exposed to TIWN correspondent on Friday. Hundreds of devotees alleged that on Friday for more than 5 hours they were unable to see the face of Goddess Tripurasundari as the inside of the main temple,where Mata Tripurasunadri's idol is installed, remained without elctricity .It is learnt that throughout the day many high officials came to Matabari and held closed doors meetings inside the deluxe rooms with all extravagant facilities. But none took the least care of the fact that Goddess Tripurasundari herself was being neglected as darkness hovered over Mata Tripurasundari.

TIWN was informed  that on Friday (26th Oct) local MLA Biplab Kr. Ghosh,DM & Collector of Gomati District T.K.Debnath,who is also the Sevait of the temple, SDM Udaipur,BDO Matabari and officials of other alligned departments visited Matabari,held meetings for many hours .But no body was seen to listen of how helpless devotees of Mata Tripurasundari were  on Friday as they could not  properly see the face of the Goddess due to the lack of electricity.

Many said,"We had to console ourselves by watching the unclear face of Maa darkened due to the lack of electricity.This is a sheer insult to the belief and faith of thousands and lakhs of bhakts of Maa."

Out of anger few of the devotees took photographs of Thursday's scenario and sent to TIWN with an appeal to publish news so that state govt's attention is drawn towards the inefficiency, carelessness and negligence of the temple authorities, in addition to lameduck District Administration.

It is worthy to mention that Mata Tripurasundari Temple is one of the 51 shakti piths and the one and only symbolic identity of Tripura across the globe. Chief Minister Biplab Kr. Deb himself is the Chairman of the temple's Trust. 

Two day long Diwali festival is going to commence at the temple complex  on 6th November. Almost everyday VVIPs' visits are now a common aspect in Matabari.But hardly any one's attention is drawn to the fact atleast the interiors of the main temple must have 24x7 uninterrupted electricity supply so that the devotees can clearly watch Mata Tripurasundari and fulfill their desire by offering prayer to Her.
