AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): JUMLA Party’s claims for India’s strong economy is a sharp contrast against rising unemployment, price hikes, historical downfall of rupee. When PM Modi's name was announced by Korean 'Seoul Peace Prize' award for developing India's economy, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and National BJP leaders, Minister all are claiming it's 'Modinomics' which brought the award. India has not left without any doubt that Demonetization was not only a failure but also benefited BJP top leaders with huge cash-corruption, criticized internationally by leading figures in economy. In case of Tripura fiscal deficit was increased since 2014, that is, since Modi Govt came in power. The report is not from other places, but Biplab Deb Govt made Verma Committee which in vivid has described how fiscal deficits were increased under Modi Govt era. PP Verma led committee report says, "The fiscal indicators of Tripura reveals that the State remained revenue surplus during the period but the fiscal deficit increased substantially during 2074-1,5 to 2017-18. It also reveals that the outstanding fiscal liabilities at the end of the year during the period increased substantially from Rs. 6873.63 crore during 2011-12 to Rs. 12518,80 crore during 2017-18". The issue was raised after ahead of Lok Sabha Election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been named as the recipient of 2018 Seoul Peace Prize.

The prize is a biennial award instituted to crystallise the wishes of the Korean people for peace on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world.

According to a statement issued by the External Affairs Ministry on Wednesday, Modi has been awarded "in recognition of his dedication to improving international cooperation, raising global economic growth, accelerating the human development of the people of India by fostering economic growth in the world's fastest growing large economy and furthering the development of democracy through anti-corruption and social integration efforts".After assessing over 100 candidates proposed by over 1,300 nominators from around the world, the Award Committee decided to bestow the Prize on Modi, calling him "the perfect candidate", according to the External Affairs Ministry statement.

'Act East Policy' was exposed in Verma Committee led report which clearly mentioned how since 2014 Modi Govt has been depriving Tripura and created a crisis situation and as a result 7th Pay Commission could never implement in Tripura till day. Since BJP Govt came in power, the problem increased more.

Verma Committee data bared open various reasons behind failure in implementing 7th CPC Central Pay-scales in Tripura. As a result there is no good news even for Govt employees which has affected the markets heavily. Earlier, it was said by BJp before Election, when 7th Pay Commission will be given and salaries will be double then unemployed youths to earn heavily, economic boom will boost the markets, but 2018-Laxmi Puja remained with "penny" given by Modi.

Even though before the election Modi, Amit Shah propagated that 7th Pay Commission with Central Pay Scale to be given from March 4th and all BJP ruled states implemented 7th pay Commission, but in reality no other state could implement 7th Pay Commission as same as Centre. In case of Tripura reason behind JUMLA-Pay Commission is just vand just No-Central-Funding.

From the Verma Committee report it has been learnt that due to Central deprivation and Fund crisis, Tripura BJP Govt could not allocate Central Pay scale. In Verma Committee report it has been clearly said that since 2014 fund deprivation started with Tripura and thus no Govt could implement 7th Pay Commission. Shockingly Verma Committee has said that since 2014 (Modi Govt) the funding decreased. Committee report says, "It is observed that the receipt from the Central Government started falling after 2014-15 and obviously it has severely affected the finances of the State Government. Under these circumstances the options for the State Government were limited to reduce the development expenditure and avoid any further expenditure on salaries".

Still the Manik Sarkar Govt managed MGNREGA fund with various protests and constant pressures, but the new CM Biplab Deb even after multiple visits in Delhi failed to bring any fund yet.
