AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): With the final end of Durga Puja with huge numbers of Durga idols were immersed on yesterday night, state is now upset as all the evening puja 'addas' have been ended for one year.

Even though, state will celebrate Laxmi Puja on Wednesday but it will be more family oriented celebration. The nostalgia feeling only comes when Durga Puja brings childhood friends, area's (para) people together in local clubs throughout morning puja, anjali and evening get together, programmes.

However, with "Asche Bochor Abar Hobe" slogan Durga idols have been immersed in rivers throughout the state. No untoward incident was reported across state during "Bisharjan" / "Immersion" of idols. 

This year Durga Puja started from October 15 andritually ended on October 19, but big clubs didn't immersed idols and continued programmes for local people. 

On yesterday evening almost all clubs were ended with Durga idol immersion. Next year (2019) Durga puja to be started on October 4 and to be ended on October 8.
