Chief Minister Biplab Deb's cousin brother cum State Cultural Advisory Committee's Vice-Chairman Subhas Deb, an illegal Bangladeshi who crossed into Tripura in January 1992, also engaged in various chain marketings to fraud public including Rose Valley chit fund scam is solely behind the saffron coloring of Agartala’s white colored Durga Bari on ‘Choturthi Day’ of Durga Puja. Subhas Deb is one Bangladeshi cousin brother of Biplab Deb who was terminated from Udaipur Ramesh H.S. School after he failed to submit necessary documents is now holding an equal to Ministerial position as Biplab Deb appointed Subhas Deb as Vice Chairman of State Cultural Advisory Committee, actually arranged saffron colours to paint Durga Bari. The saffron colourin Durga Bari had shocked the local people and media, later State Govt was forced to recover the Durga Bari but recolouring it with white on yesterday.

Durga Bari Temple’s royal heritage of White Color was tradition since Tripura Maharaja’s period, but illegal Bangladeshi Subhas Deb’s goal to color saffron this ancient Temple is condemned by Royal Family and Public across State. 

BJP’s attempt to destroy Tripura’s cultural heritage by enforcing BJP’s saffron color on Durga Bari is a fascist attempt in State’s history.

JUMLA masters frustations growing as Biplab Deb’s repeated attempts to shutdown Opposition voices failed in Tripura. Frustrated Biplab Deb’s coterie already harassed TIWN Journalists, sent Police multiple times to shutdown TIWN operations in Agartala.

Political attack of BJP on Durga Bari temple was fueled by Subhas Das’s instruction to colour the Durga Bari with saffron colour but election campaigning with saffron colour has darkened Tripura's glory ahead of Durga Puja-2018 when Tripura is celebrating the first Durga Puja under BJP Govt.  Being asked the workers on Sunday they told TIWN, "On yesterday were instructed to give saffron colour and when today we came, we are asked to change the colour into white again". 

Biplab Deb led State Govt was condemned by Royal family members. Inheritor of Royal family Pradyot Deb Barman, S/O-Kirit Bikram Deb Barman said, "Religion has no colour".

On the day of Choturthi, the Durga Bari was coloured with saffron whereas on Panchami after the Royal family had condemned the Govt had restored the previous 'white' colour.

The workers said, whereas on yesterday saffron colour was brought for them, today white colour has been brought and they were instructed to recolour it with white.

A source said, Raj Mata Bibhu Kumari Devi has complained to West DM Sandeep Mahatme led the administration to take action. 

Durga puja is 500 years old tradition in state. However, the capital of the princely dynasty along with royal temple moved three different places - Udaipur, Amarpur and PuranHabeli before the state headquarters and the capital city along with the Durgabari temple settled in Agartala 177 years ago in 1838 by then Maharaja Krishna Kishore Manikya (1830-49).

Subhas Deb obtained Indian Citizenship via fraudster brokers, has started a chain marketing business in Tripura like Rose Valley, I-Core Chit Funds etc, but with a different name – ‘ViswaBanga Sahitya &SanskritiSanmelan’. Befooling the artists of Tripura , mainly those budding and young living outside Agartala , Subhash Deb is practically squeezing out money promising to give Life Time Membership. ActuallyViswaBanga Sahitya and SanskritiSanmelan is a yearly programme organized by the Bengali artists across the globe mainly from Bangladesh, India and primarily funded by the NRIs. Its main base is in Bangladesh and Kolkata.

During the last few years Tripura chapter was run by the Comrade Artist of Agartala Amit Bhowmik. But after 3rd March this year 2018, Subhash Deb, a Bangadeshi, who got Indian citizenship illegally by means of brokers, revived his connection with two of the key persons of ViswaBanga Sahitya O SanskritiSanmelan-one from Bangladesh and one from Kolkata.
