AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): Amid massive poverty, starvation , fuel price hike across India as well as in State Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed there is no poverty at all now in the country.
While addressing in BJP rally, Chief Minister said, "Since PM Modi understood the importance of rural roadway and thus Gram SadakYojna was started. Without road nobody buys any land too and understanding the importance of roadway the Modi Govt is successfully working in that direction".
"Modi Govt also gave free salt and food. More than this, what can a Govt do ???" Biplab Deb asked.
"Solving roadway problems, then house to house free gas connectivity was given by Modi Govt. Now for food Rs. 2 rupees kilo rice are given and in Tripura our Govt is giving poor people free rice", CM added.
"Now with Ayushman Bharat health scheme, poor people will get free health service and that's what Modi Govt is doing", CM said.
