AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): JUMLA-players in action who promised to double salaries of employees but ended by 0.32 factor from October 2018 and BJP finally attempted to end the 7th CPC controversy by terming 0.32 factor hike as 7th CPC.

Followed by storms of controversy, after the State Govt failed to announce 7th Pay Commission for its Govt employees, BJP through a press conference claimed on Wednesday, Tripura BJP Govt has fulfilled one promise of Vision Document by announcing 7 CPC.

Addressing in a press conference, Pratima Bhowmik congratulated the State Govt for pay hikes, claiming the previous CPI-M Govt could not benefit the employees.

“This is historical decision without alleging any central deprivation”, said Bhowmik.

“CM Biplab Deb has done toughest work by giving 7th Pay Commission, which Manik Sarkar couldn’t do”, said Pratima Bhowmik.

However, when BJP and its Chief Minister continue to claim that 7th Pay Commission has been given already with yesterday’s press meet, Congress has termed it’s a JUMLA-Commission, not 7th Pay Commission.

CPI-M raised question, why the 9% DA has not been cleared yet, whereas the effect of Pay-Matrix is from this month, when BJP promised 7th Pay Commission with January 2016 effect.
