AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): After BJP led State Govt has announced "Tripura Pay Matrix 2018" claiming it's the recommendation of 7 CPC based on 7 months long researched Verma Committee's report, Tripura Congress has slammed the Govt accusing "fooling the employees/pensioners in Jumla-Style". State Congress’s one of topmost leaders Gopal Roy has bluffed the BJP Govt claimed pay-revision for employees as 7th Pay Commission. Congress will officially expose the Govt’s “bluff” to employees in the name of 7th Pay Commission through a press conference today afternoon. Ahead of the press meet, talking to TIWN over phone, Roy has mentioned, “CPI-M Govt’s 2.25 factor hike raised 19.68% of salaries of the employees and after 0.32 factor hike by BJP Govt has raised only 14.2% of the whole salary. In case of pensioners for gratuity state Govt’s has allocated 10 lakh whereas in case of Centre (7th CPC) it’s 20 lakhs. How house rent can be 3000 only ? Many things are in 7th CPC but nothing has been given including 9% DA which are pending”. “The effect from 2018, October has further hit the employees badly whereas 2016, January was promised as the effect before election. Indeed the Jumla Govt has mass cheated with fake Vision Document”, Gopal Roy added.

Roy further mentioned, "I already claimed the whole Vision Document as JUMLA since its publication".

Noteworthy, on the background of this pay hike, before Assembly Election it was told the employees that a person getting 10,000 rupees salaries will get 20000 and that double hike will increase state's revenue rapidly but merely 15% hardly can raise with this pay matrix.

Before election, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said in first cabinet meeting 7th pay commission will be given. Amit Shah said, ,"Cast your vote on 18, 3rd March BJP to win and take your salary according to 7th Pay commission". Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma told media,"Create such a situation in MP election that we can't win it(Lok Sabha) election".

But keeping Tripura in zero deficit budget, Biplab Deb Delhi visit with #TransformingTripura slogan, hypes on "Model State in 3 years" Deb failed to draw 7th Pay Commission for 2 lakh Govt employees.

At the same Union Finance Minister A run Jaitley appeared as another JUMLA master, who along with Himanta Biswa Sarma, Tripura BJP spokesperson Ashok Sinha published Vision Document on February 12, 8 days ahead of Assembly Election.

Tripura BJP on yesterday has completed 7 months since Govt formation as on March 9 BJP-IPFT govt had taken oath at 1 crores of expenditure for oath taking ceremony.

In a separate reaction, CPI-M MP Jitendra Choudhury also expressed resentment as what BJP said, has not done it with 7th CPC.
