AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): JUMLA promises failed to pacify Tripura Govt Employees as Biplab Deb led BJP Govt could not implement 7th Pay Commission which was promised to deliver from 4th March, 2018. Also JUMLA party before Assembly Election had signed an agreement door to door with Govt employees that 7th Pay Commission for Govt employees and pensioners to be given with the affect of January 2016 and the agreement copy was given to each employee and pensioner’s home, but now as 7th Pay Commission is far from implementation arrears are increasing. It has been surveyed the agreement copy is still kept by those employees in their houses even those who came in retirement after 2016. No good news for govt employees as Verma Committee failed to submit report amid various newspapers’ claim of “good news before Durga puja”. With pay commission lollipon the delay game on 7th Pay Commission report not only exposed Biplab Deb’s actual intent but bared BJP’s dirty political game of fooling Tripura’s Govt Employees. Budget's Rs 1000 crores for 7th Pay Commission is no more helping the Govt o implement it, neither the State Govt could bring more funds from Centre.

From Secretariat insider sources, Biplab Deb extending Verma Committee till October’2018, followed by another round of extension till 2019 Lok Sabha Election so that BJP can blame Verma Committee for delay in implementation till the 2019 LS Election. Biplab Deb was criticized for ‘Tughluq' attitude by some of his Ministers in private on Zero Deficit budget.

On June 24,2018 at Dharmanagar, Biplab Deb mocked at his own Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma as the Finance Minister didn't agree with Zero-Deficit budget. The CM also claimed that Northeast first country to implement zero-deficit budget is Tripura. Now with that zero-deficit budget what is happening ? In 6 months people got "Zero Result" by choosing BJP.

After revealing Zero-deficit budget, Biplab Deb said, “Assam like state, which is much developed led by Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal also couldn’t introduce the zero-deficit budget. We want to stand on own feet and at least we have dared to do so. Earlier, the previous govt could never imagine about zero-deficit budget for the state and they kept on raising complaints about central deprivation. Central will surely help if we face problem but at least we should try for it. A mother only supports her child when the child tries to stand on its own feet but when it crawls the mother doesn’t come forward. In this way, I am sure central govt will also help us, but we need to start the journey at least".

Modi Govt has been marked as the first Govt whose party desperately lied with Fake Election promises before Lok Sabha Election. In case of Tripura also same happened when BJP was slamming the then Left Govt for not giving 7th Pay Commission to the Govt employees. But after winning the election with Employees and Pensioners votes, Pay Commission could not be announced on 7 months of Govt formation, whereas 10 % DA of July month is now pending left the Durga Puja season as dry. Infact puja business is still at down due to commodity price hikes and no salary hike of employees.

Resentments, frustrations gripped state govt employees as no DA, no Pay Commission was given to the employees.
