AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Tripura Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday has compared the Central Govt as a rotten body of the country which has failed to fulfill a single promise.
Sarkar further raised question, if the head is rotten, then how the tail (BJP led State Govt in Tripura) can function properly ?
"Central Govt didn't fulfill a single promise which it did before coming in power. In this situation when Central Govt has emerged as a rotten body, how the State Govt of BJP will fulfill its promises ?", Manik Sarkar said.
"We told Tripura people at the beginning that the BJP after coming in power will not fulfill a single promise of it and these promises are not practically possible, but people voted for BJP and now what's the outcome? No work, no job, backward people are more attacked", Manik Sarkar said.
Sarkar further took a dig at Modi Govt led Rafale deal scam saying, "In Rajib Gandhi's era after around Rs. 65 crores scam had taken place whole India had been shouting Gali-Gali-mai shore hai, Congress-Govt-Chor hai....but now Rafale deal scam has shocked the whole world. Such a scam under Defence Ministry has surpassed all limits of corruption"
"Under BJP there is no relief for poor and common men", Sarkar added in a remembrance programme of CPI-M leader Late Jiten Das.
