AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): Amid massive poverty, starvation across India as well as in State Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed there is no poverty at all now in the country.
While addressing in the inauguration programme of Ayushman Bharat health scheme, Chief Minister said, "Since Atal Bihari Vajpayee to PM Modi, they understood the importance of rural roadway and thus Gram Sadak Yojna was started. Without road nobody buys any land too and understanding the importance of roadway the Modi Govt is successfully working in that direction".
"Solving roadway problems, then house to house free gas connectivity was given by Modi Govt. Now for food Rs. 2 rupees kilo rice are given and in Tripura our Govt is giving poor people free rice", CM added.
"Now with Ayushman Bharat health scheme, poor people will get free health service and that's what Modi Govt is doing", CM said.
