AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Without Govt's consult before 2 years, 18 children were sent by tribal families to Bihar to take Education in a Buddhist Missionary school and also time to time fees were given to the school. But recently police via telephone told Tripura Govt that 18 children of Tripura were recovered from Bihar as "the institution where the students were studying has been closed" and today Bihar police have brought the children here in Tripura through train. Complaints against the school was lodged before 2 months. Health Minister Sudip Barman told media, as the students were sent without Govt's consult and so there is no record but it can be a deep conspiracy. Tripura Govt will talk to Bihar Govt and State Police to investigate the matter jointly with Bihar Police. Sudip Barman further asked guardians never to send children without taking suggestion from the State Govt. Minister Sudip Barman said, "Bihar Police called my personal secretary that 18 children have been found in Bihar, who belong to Tripura. The institution where they were studying has been closed. So, we told the District Administration to send the children, but their tickets were booked till Guwahati. Then police officials managed ticket till Agartala Railway Staion at the cost of Rs. 8000 and sent them to Tripura. We'll investigate the matter, but without asking the Govt".

"It's quite suspicious that the organization has been closed. However our children have returned in our state, which is a sigh of relief", Barman said.

"Both State Govt and Tribal Welfare Dept to send letters to the State Govt of Bihar. Without knowledge of Govt no children should be sent for admission.

Since few months, investigations are going on as guardian had alleged that their children were taken in exchange of money but no education is being given properly. Our social welfare dept also contacted the dept at Bihar in this regard. But it took one and half month to recover them.

From Tripura Govt side, it has been confirmed that heavy tortures were done upon the students at there. The recovered children have been taken to home. Also initiative for legal action will be taken by Govt of Tripura.
