AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Irrespective of Modi’s charm, ‘HIRA’ & all kind of FAKE promises by JUMLA Party to fool Tripura Public before Assembly Election, Biplab Deb failed to get enough funds from Centre to run the State or pay 7th CPC, even failed to even appoint 1200 Govt Job Offer Letter given TET passed candidates . Former CM Manik Sarkar was much more successful in fetching necessary funds from Modi Govt during 2014 to 2017. Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) which was conducted in Tripura on Saturday, raised doubt about the pending appointments of TET qualified, offer letter served teachers. In the name of Teachers crisis, Chief Minister is shuttling Delhi to manage ‘relaxation’ in teachers recruitment, whereas 1200 teachers even after getting offer letters are unable to join as the Govt has not called them for joining Schools.

This serious issue after Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that if he gets candidates in one day he can arrange jobs for 1200 teachers but there are no eligible candidates.

The last TET was conducted on May month, 2018 and out of 1300 candidates around 1200 had been qualified and in the July month each of them were given with offer letters and after that two months have been passed. In a conference of teachers, Ratan Lal Nath said, “Right now I can recruit 1200 teachers, but where are candidates ?

Total in 8 centres of 8 Districts the TET exams were held participated by 4936 candidates. The examination centreswere : 1) Agartala, 2) Belonia, 3) Dharmanagar, 4) Kailashahar, 5) Kamalpur, 6) Khowai, 7) Sonamura, 8) Udaipur. But delay in the appointments of the previous qualified teachers has irked resentment among the job aspirants.

During Assembly, on June 22 Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath expressed concerns about the ongoing teachers crisis in state's schools. He said right now around 200 teachers were reported as TET qualified, whereas 500 teachers are urgently needed, said Education Minister.

“The teachers crisis has become a major factor which is halting quality Education”, he claimed.  Also Ratan Lal Nath mentioned that along with quality, quality of teachers are also lacking.

In July month, from Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s speech delivered at Sukanta Academy on Sunday a data has come out which shows Tripura schools are having 9.5 teachers in average i.e. less than 10 teachers in a school. Ratan Lal Nath was addressing in a seminar at Sukanta Academy conducted by ‘Tripura Govt Educational Officers Association’ where discussion was held on the present Educational scenario in Tripura. Addressing the programme, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said, “Total 4385 numbers of schools, state Tripura has right now whereas the teachers numbers are 41,912”.

Nath also said, “Out of 41,912 teachers 9022 teachers are trained whereas 32890 teachers are untrained”.The Minister further quoted, “Education is the top priority of the present govt. Quality Education is utmost necessary for building of the generation. Without quality Education, our state’s youths can never face the race at national level”.

But now it has been revealed that 1200 offer letter received teachers till now left without recruitment.

In similar way many recruitments are also pending under TPSC, which was postponed on August 20 for 'uncertain period of time'.
