AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): More 26 paisa added with petrol price today as petrol prices in Agartala is Rs. 78.83 on Saturday.

On Friday petrol price was Rs. 78.57 whereas on Thursday it was Rs. 77.98. Indeed each day petrol price is increasing without a pause.

The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar, which has made petrol prices in Agartala more expensive than before.

Congress has called a 12 hours strike on Monday protesting increasing fuel price hike, but the state govt has notified all employees to continue offices without any disturbances.

The state govt also has warned the employees that strict action will be taken if they violate the order and doesn't come to office.
