AGARALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Tripura Ex-Minister Badal Chourdhury has expressed confidence about CPI-M’s good performance in the by-election if the election is held in democratic manner rather than non-stop terror by JUMLA Party.
In a press conference held at Udaipur Party office, Badal Choudhury said so. Ex Minister Ratan Bhowmik, Ex-MLA Madhab Saha were also present.
The CPI-M leader however slammed the BJP Govt for the election, which is going to be conducted on the 6th month of this govt.
Badal Choudhury further claimed that the CPI-M leaders were forced to resign from their posts.
On the other side in a press conference CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar, Forward Bloc Secretary Shyamal Roy, RSP"s Sudarshan Bhattacharjee have announced that amid much threats, Left Parties to give candidates. CPI, CPI-M(L) leaders were also present in the press conference held in Melarmath.
A joint team of all Left Parties also placed a deputation to the Election Commission on Thursday complaining about the ongoing rigging in the state. But at the same time, CPI-M has decided to battle the election along with its allies of Left parties.
