AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Assam Rifles conducted a workshop on health & hygiene and prevention of water borne diseases at Champahour village, District Khowai and Mungiakani village, District Dhalai on yesterday.

 A total of 595 locals attended the lecture in which importance of healthy & hygiene life style was highlighted with focus on the prevention of water borne disease. Attendees were motivated to adopt healthy personal & community habits for long & disease free life. Preventive measures against Cholera, typhoid, hepatitis-A ,Diarrhea & malaria were also brief during the workshop.
