AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): Under Chief Minister Biplab Deb, hardly there is any difference left between the party office and secretariat.
As soon as BJP Govt was slammed for promoting four Principal Secretaries as Additional Chief Secretaries, CM's right and left hands sat in damage repairing.
Earlier, in Secretariat such terms as "previous govt", "present govt" with media bashing lines were never heard at least from officials, but with CM's multiple OSDs, advisor the Secretariat's working atmosphere are on the verges of destruction.
Kumar Alok, the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Biplab Deb has blamed the previous CPI-M Govt behind the confusion going over the promotion of Secretaries into Additional Chief Secretaries.
According to Kumar Alok four of them were promoted by the previous CPI-M Govt in 2017, January 1st, but no designation was given which is "not correct" and thus the present Govt (BJP) have just given them their designations.
Kumar also said, Secretariat will be only one, not four, which was wrongly published in leading newspapers.
The four new Chief Secretaries are : 1) Dr. U. Venkateswarlu, (MT:1986), 2) Lalit Kumar Gupta, (MT:1987), 3) Dr. GSG Ayyangar, (MT:1987), 4) Sushil Kumar, (MT:1987) are the additional chief secretaries.
OSD of Tripura Sanjay Misra also joined the press conference.
