AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): Contrary to Biplab Deb led BJP-IPFT Govt’s ‘Acche Din” JUMLA promises, Statewise sufferings continue due to poor Governance, amid cancellation of ongoing Job recruitment processes started by earlier State Govt. In a shocking development, at least 8,000 job aspirants will be affected with the brutal decision of existing job recruitments cancellation, such has been claimed by CPI-M's student wing Secretary Amal Chakraborty. On August 3, Tripura cabinet had decided to introduce new recruitment process with the recently announced New Recruitment Policy, cancelling all the ongoing recruitment. The decision led massive frustration as many candidates had already passed the whole interview and were waiting for appointment letter. Even the decision is affecting the job aspirants whose recruitment were monitored by High Court of Tripura.DYFI Secretary Amal Chakraborty said, "It's surprising, TPSC which is autonomous and independent body, it is also being attempted to be controlled by the Govt".

"On yesterday for two posts' interviews were scheduled to be held, candidates arrived in hat scheduled time, but sadly they found their interviews have been postponed for uncertain period of time. It's unacceptable that TPSC didn't bother to inform the candidates about that".

The issue was raised when with an unexpected move, unemployed youths failed to sit in a screening test which was scheduled by TPSC earlier under Finance Dept. When on Sunday morning, the candidates arrived in Sishu Bihar School (the exam-centre), they found a surprise notice for them by TPSC pasted on the school gate declaring temporary suspension of the recruitment process under Advt No-11/2017. Even though TPSC is autonomous body, how it could take such a decision without citing any reason behind it, it’s under question. At the same time, it has triggered huge resentments.

The posts were, “Programmer in the director of Treasuries” & “Senior Technical Assistant” in the Director of Treasuries under Finance Dept. The postponing of 2017’s recruitment like this has led heavy resentment among the job aspirants, who toiled hard in filling up the applications, wasted hefty moneys in coaching and transport for years. Not only this, in filling the application at together, job aspirants had to spend a lot with various troubles like issues of challan from banks. Few of the job aspirants (name hidden) told TIWN, "We were not even informed by TPSC about the postponing of the tests, but today they left the surprise for us on the front door of Sishu Bihar school".

The DYFI Secretary said, "The candidates took coaching, bought books and from far way they came to appear for the test. When the CPI-M Govt used to announce about recruitment in each cabinet meeting either in small number or in big numbers posts but now the BJP-IPFT Govt has cancelled all job recruitments which can affect around 8000 job aspirants".

What crucial in that is State Govt's decision is going  High Court's order.

TCS / TPS recruitment under HC's verdict :Due to the ongoing corruptions in the TPSC, the youths were fighting in the High Court against the recruitment process and one of the cases were regarding the TCS / TPS job recruitment, where the question papers’ distributions to seat allocations have been challenged in the High Court.

Complaints are coming from a bunch of TCS / TPS job aspirants based on Tripura High Court vide case W.P.(C)No.822 of 2016 dt.11-06-2018 where it is clearly mentioned (in the page-6) that the Exam for physical handicapped candidates should be conducted again and TPSC can publish result for the other candidates as well as the Viva-voce of TCS/TPS Exam may be conducted but the final result should be declared after the completion of written and viva-voce of the physical handicapped candidates.

“When High Court has ordered something, then how the newly BJP-IPFT led government can deny such verdict of the  honorable Tripura High Court and if not, why TPSC is delaying the recruitment ?”

Lecturer in Diploma level in Tripura Technical institutions under HC's : The recruitment process had started from 2016 and it was in 2018, June 26 that High Court after scrutinizing the whole recruitment process, had given the final verdict which says the recruitment should be continued according to 29.11.2007's notification. Two months have been passed with High Court's order but TPSC is not proceeding the recruitment after 2 months of the verdict, generated fear among the job aspirants whether that jobs will be cancelled.
