AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): State BJP Govt has continued various departmental drives led by Ministers' physical presence. In a move to upgrade Education quality and to spot loopholes in the infrastructure and teachers' performance schools wide, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has visited various schools in the capital city Agartala. Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday has visited various schools in Agartala, served a show cause notice to the Principal of Bodhjung Boy's HS School HM. Apart from this schools, the Minister also visited various schools of the capital city, allegedly found negligence everywhere. Maximum schools left without dinning room, neither they have any proper sitting arrangements. From classroom to staff room, teaching environment all left in miserable shape, alleged the Minister.The visit started from Bodhjung Girls HS School, where the Education Minister expressed resentments on the Principal of the School and also the infrastructure and facilities are not available.

At the same time, mid day meal and water facility system were in bad shape and also the toilets were found unhygienic.

Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath also caught teachers in slumber during his visit at Agartala schools.The drive led by Education Minister started from July 2^nd. By surprise visits, Ratan Lal Nath is finding loopholes, checking the ongoing.

The Minister also sat with the students and talked with them for long during his schools visit. Recently, there were similar visits made by Education Dept officials across the state. Many teachers were also suspended or served with show-cause letter for negligence in duties in last one month.
